Gurudakshina-Mongols

I had an occassion to witness the devotion of people of Mongolia during Silver Jubilee celebrations at Ashram, 2006. I was doing seva at Kashyapa-II, when two Mongol ladies who were doing part 2 course came to meet Guruji. They had a bag full of letters for Guruji and a wad of Mongolian currency notes and few coins, they wanted t0 personally deliver it to Guruji. Since no one was allowed to meet Guruji, they wanted me to deliver them to Guruji. I was flummoxed to take currency notes on Gurujis behalf and explained my inabilty to do so. They explained to me that they were told in the course that money was an offering to Guruji. But, I could not recollect it from my experience of many part 2 courses I had done. I took only their letters and told them that letters themselves were an offering to Guruji.

Many days later I recollected Eklavyas story by Guruji in part 2 course where Guruji tells us "Focus like Eklavya" and gurus in those days used to take a token gift offering from the pupil!. That was an Eureka moment for me. Those Mongol ladies had so intently listened to Gurujis video talk!. Their devotion had stirred me!

Listening to Gurus words with whole of ones heart and soul just once is worthful than going over it time and again half heartedly. I am grateful to those Mongol ladies! Their devotion to Guruji is unparallel!
